Job DescriptionAs an Ambulance & Events Volunteer, your primary responsibility will be to provide quality care to patients through their journey, which may start at a 111 call and end either being referred to another healthcare provider, treated on scene, or transported to a medical facility.
You will have the opportunity to work at various events, including local and international sports events, school fairs, and concerts. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A desire to help people in a compassionate and professional manner
- Embracing diversity and committed to continuous learning and training
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Great time management
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months). Additionally, you must be 18 years of age or over, a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and have a clean police record.
