**Job Description**: As an integral member of our team, the In-House Legal Counsel will provide high-quality and pragmatic legal advice / support across a broad range of matters, including intellectual property, contracts, corporate governance, employment law, and general business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Provide legal advice and support to senior management and business teams on a broad range of legal issues, including IP rights, commercial contracts, employment matters, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of contracts across ARL's operations (including employment)
  • Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with New Zealand laws and regulations
  • Manage ARL's VISA / Immigration process for staff travelling around the world
  • Manage ARL's insurances & associated compliance
  • Stay up to date with relevant legal developments, and provide training to internal teams as necessary
