About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team on a permanent, fulltime or part-time basis.

You'll be working on rostered and rotating shifts, contributing to the successful operation of the nursing team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will assist Registered Nurses in meeting patient/client needs when appropriate, demonstrating kindness, empathy, and compassion in your work.

About Our Team

The Kenepuru Surgical Unit is a 17 - 21 bed General, Gynaecological, Orthopaedic Surgical, Ortho-Geriatric rehabilitation ward with a strong focus on teamwork and commitment to excellent standards of nursing care. We are looking for a flexible and dynamic experienced Health care assistant to join our team.

About You

We require someone who possesses strong listening skills, a positive and enthusiastic manner, and can effectively support registered nurses in their duties. Key responsibilities include equipment cleaning and maintenance, restocking, and being an active team member.
