Job DescriptionThis full-time, fixed-term role is based in New Plymouth and involves working Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You will be responsible for supporting taiohi to build confidence, resilience, and wellbeing. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, meal prep, and other activities designed to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level 4) or National Certificate in Youth Work;
- An understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people;
- A current Full NZ driver's licence;
- An understanding of Information Technology - Microsoft Office preferred;
- A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
