The University of Auckland is seeking an Academic Examination Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple doctoral examinations, providing expert advice on complex policies and procedures, and ensuring the smooth execution of these examinations.
About the Role
This full-time position requires a tertiary qualification and at least 2-3 years' experience in a large complex organisation, preferably in the tertiary sector. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work effectively with senior academic staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on complex policy and procedure relating to doctoral examination.
- Organise all aspects of doctoral examinations from thesis submission to completion.
- Assess examiner nominations, examination reports, and make delegated decisions.
