Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bakery Team Member to join our Pastry/Bread team at LET'S WORK IN NZ LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bakery department, ensuring that high-quality freshly baked breads and cakes are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing frozen products for baking
  • Mixing and baking required daily levels of all bakery products
  • Baking required daily levels of Cakes and other products
  • Preparing and making Sandwiches
  • Assembling sandwiches using breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables and other products according to customer orders
  • Responsible for the operation of the pastry/Bakery section of the kitchen - including desserts, breads, and other baked goods
  • Producing other bakery-specific products as required
  • Other tasks across the store as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of baking experience in a retail bakery, or relevant trade qualification
  • Ability to work competently under pressure
  • Reliable and flexible to change
  • Positive attitude
  • Committed to team, establishment, and excellence
