The role of an experienced Olive Farm Manager is crucial in leading the transition of a historic farm into a top organic olive oil producer. This senior position requires strong leadership and expertise in olive production, orchard management, and organic farming standards.

  • Strategic Leadership & Management: Oversee olive cultivation operations, manage a large team, and implement organic farming systems for certification compliance.
  • Olive Oil Production & Quality Control: Manage on-site olive mill, ensuring efficient processing and premium oil extraction, and maintain quality standards from harvest to production.
  • Sustainable & Organic Farming Practices: Implement organic pest control, nutrition, and soil health programs, and ensure adherence to organic and sustainable certifications.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' management experience in olive farming or a related sector (e.g., fruit/vineyard management).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Expertise in pest control, pruning, nutrition, and mechanical harvesting.
