We are currently looking for a part-time Kaiwhakarite to support our Bachelor of Social Work team.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that the Bachelor of Social Work team is supported with any administrative tasks related to programme delivery.

  • Minute Taking
  • Assist with Programme Delivery Schedules and Lesson Plans
  • Assist with the online database input for placement completed
  • Assist with completion of travel/kai requests
  • Assist with Monitors Visits/Kōmiti Awhina – contacting stakeholders, collation of information for reporting purposes, filing
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Provide support to kaiako with administrative tasks and programme resourcing
  • Contacting new tauira during the enrolment period to set up interviews

You will be someone who has proven experience in providing administrative and support services, is proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, and has great written and oral communication skills in both English and Māori.

You will need to have great relationship skills to be able to work with our tauira and kaimahi and be a quick learner in understanding our Bachelor of Social Work programme needs.

Ideally, you will have a certificate in Business Administration or a related field, and a NZ Full Licence.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
