About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Outdoor Timber Specialist. As a key member of our retail store team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and advice on outdoor timber products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers with a smile and provide a 'can do' attitude to ensure they receive the best value option for their project.
  • Talk to customers either in person or over the phone to understand their product needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to put orders together, unload/load trucks, use the forklift/loader, and put product away.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in customer service, yard work, farming, or forklift experience (full training will be provided).
  • Self-motivation, reliability, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
  • A friendly, energetic, and positive personality.
  • Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices.
  • A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
  • A full driver's licence (or the ability to get one soon) to drive company vehicles.
