We provide essential services in housing, health, training, food support, financial mentoring, and more, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families to thrive.
The Housing Service at Visionwest offers assistance to vulnerable families, exploring appropriate immediate housing solutions for youth, individuals, and whanau.
**Role Responsibilities**
The Support Navigator role includes:
- Ensuring prompt initial contact with families according to housing contracts
- Completing required documentation and compiling Social Work assessments
- Regularly reviewing assessments with relevant recommendations for family-driven goal plans
- Engaging with families regularly as per their needs and contractual requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Social Worker Registration Board registration and annual competency
- Several years of relevant experience preferable
- Full Class 1 Driver's License
