This part-time role for an Awards & Scholarships Coordinator is located in Auckland. The coordinator will be responsible for managing the application process, assisting in the selection process, communicating with applicants, maintaining records, and coordinating with funders. Additionally, they will manage event planning for award ceremonies and scholarship presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and databases is required.
  • The ability to effectively interact with funders, applicants, and committee members is necessary.
  • Detailed-oriented individuals with strong problem-solving skills are highly valued.
  • Experience in the education or non-profit sectors is advantageous.
  • A working understanding of New Zealand's tertiary education sector, including familiarity with institutions, course offerings, and entry requirements, is preferred.
  • Postgraduate qualifications with a demonstrable research component and/or graduate teaching experience would be highly desirable.
