We're looking for a dedicated individual to manage our Out of School Programme at Birkdale School.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for setting up and operating the programme, as well as fostering strong relationships with school communities.
  • Play a key role in supporting the growth and development of children aged 5-12.
  • Provide daily supervisory care and responsibility for programme delivery.
  • Manage parent and school liaison, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily administrative tasks, including staff management and coordination.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15+ hours between before and after school programmes. Additional hours may be available during school holidays.

Programme Details:

  • Before School Hours: 7am - 8:30am
  • After School Hours: 2:30pm - 6pm
  • Holiday Programmes Hours: 7am - 6pm

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A passion for working with children aged 5-12 and inspiring their confidence and self-expression.
  • Previous experience working with children or in the education sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
  • A valid NZ work/student visa or residency/citizenship.
  • Age 20+ years old (as per Social Security Regulations).
