Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Transition Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of students into our institution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects and activities related to student transitions
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including secondary schools and other educational institutions
  • Support administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and managing enrollments
  • Promote a culture of wellbeing and safety within the institution

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years' senior-level experience in operational or coordination roles
  • Relevant tertiary post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of the Secondary School National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) system
  • Experience in the tertiary sector and/or secondary sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
