Our centre has been based at Richmond Road School since 1985 and operates under the Ministry of Education. We are affiliated with Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa and are committed to the growth and revitalisation of te reo Māori.

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional leader to join our team as a Language and Culture Leader. As a key member of our executive committee, you will provide leadership and guidance to our kaiako and kaimahi. You will have a sound knowledge of te reo Māori and tikanga, and be passionate about its revitalisation. If you thrive in a kaupapa Māori environment and want to contribute to the success of our tamariki, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership to kaiako and kaimahi on behalf of the executive committee
  • Ensure a sound understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga among staff members
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity in teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the centre's kaupapa Māori
