Junior Quantity Surveyor Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our close-knit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting senior Quantity Surveyors with day-to-day tasks, including basic pricing and cost analysis, following up on rates and prices with suppliers and subcontractors, chasing and managing communications with subcontractors, looking after labor-only contractors, and general administrative duties as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a basic one-year course or full degree in quantity surveying or a related field. 0-12 months of practical experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is also important. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
