About the Role

As a Desktop Support Engineer II or III, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services for our desktop systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless operations, maintain business continuity, and resolve complex technical challenges.

  • You will provide expert technical support for hardware and software issues, including diagnosis, resolution, and preventative measures.
  • You will configure and optimize network settings, manage user accounts, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) issues.
  • You will deploy and manage OS images, fortify security defenses, and protect systems from cyber threats.
  • You will automate processes using PowerShell and Bash scripts, and contribute to knowledge-sharing resources.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Industry certifications, such as A+ Certification, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, ServiceNow (ITSM), and enterprise IT tools.
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems and ability to board vessels and provide on-site IT support.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving approach, and excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive under pressure.
