About the Role

Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join our team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation oncology services to our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation oncology services to patients, including treatment planning, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to registrars and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • Hold a FRANZCR or equivalent qualification.
  • Have experience in radiation oncology, with a strong understanding of treatment planning and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
