Tangata Whenua Stewardship Opportunity
We are seeking two additional Chapter Members of Maori descent to join our Priory Chapter. As a Chapter Member, you will play a key role in ensuring the strategic direction and approach of Hato Hone St John aligns with our values and objectives. You will work closely with the Priory Board and other stakeholders to promote the work of St John and address service deprivation and inequities.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide oversight, guidance, and support to the Priory Board
* Ensure alignment with our strategic direction and approach
* Promote the work of St John and address service deprivation and inequities

Requirements
* Individuals of Maori descent
* Knowledge and expertise in Te Ao Maori, Tikanga, and Te Reo Maori
* Previous governance experience as a Board or Committee member in the community or volunteer environment
* Experience in Hauora/oranga systems and services
* Strong connections across iwi
* Understanding of broad governance concepts, responsibilities, and obligations to members and community stakeholders
