About the Role

We're seeking a Data Steward to join our Data Management Office, partnering with the ASB Data Community to set up guidelines for data consumption and management. This role requires a blend of business and technical knowledge to achieve the best possible outcomes with our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective Data Governance and Data Risk Management activities, ensuring data quality and controls.
  • Providing stakeholders with clarity on remediation initiatives.
  • Educating the ASB community on data governance matters.
  • Supporting the effective function of the Data Management Office.
  • Managing relationships with business stakeholders to understand their data governance needs.

You'll be a self-starter with problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills, able to share knowledge and learn from others. A strong background in data governance, analytics, business intelligence, or information management in banking or financial services is ideal. You'll have strong influencing and collaboration skills and be able to present to senior management.
