Job Overview

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to support clients with managing social issues, accessing relevant community services, managing risk, ensuring safety, and providing individual care throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities
  • To build good relationships with the people we support and help them make good decisions for themselves.
  • A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviours.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
  • Full NZ driver's license.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate, depending on relevant qualifications, with the ability to earn more as you gain qualifications. IDEA Services will also support you towards completion of the Level 2, 3 and 4 Certificates in Health and Wellbeing qualifications.
