Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Compass Group New Zealand. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food to our customers, residents, and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, cook, and serve quality meals and snacks, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Maintaining Kitchen Hygiene: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, adhering to Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and assist with general kitchen duties, demonstrating a hardworking, trustworthy, and friendly outgoing personality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Food Safety Certificate: Hold a current Food Safety Certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be willing to train for one.
  • Cooking Experience: Have experience in cooking and baking across a cross-section of the industry.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate fluently in English and possess good English cuisine cooking skills.
