Job Description
We are looking for an Agronomy Assistant to join our team and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve our whitefly scouting process. This role involves working closely with our experts to develop and implement a new process that uses data-driven approaches to enhance accuracy and predictability.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Develop and implement a new whitefly scouting process using data-driven approaches.
- Support the transition from conventional manual scouting to an advanced, data-driven approach.
- Assist in gathering and analysing whitefly population dynamics data.
- Perform manual scouting and support IPM tasks.
- Assist with implementation of field trials and development of strategies and recommendations.
- A degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience.
- Strong adaptability to switch between hands-on fieldwork and analytical work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ideally, experience or familiarity with agronomy, plant sciences, or IPM programs is beneficial.
