We're seeking a skilled Conference Coordinator to join our team at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre. As the primary point of contact for events, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of conferences, from quoting and planning to administration and coordination with our banqueting team.

The Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You'll need to have a minimum of two years' experience in conference co-ordination and proficiency in using our in-house system, Suite 8.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Develop and manage event budgets and quotes
  • Collaborate with the banqueting team to deliver exceptional events
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees
