About the Role
As a Finance Manager covering parental leave, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth financial operations, reporting, and strategic financial planning. You will work closely with key stakeholders to support business growth while ensuring compliance and efficiency in all financial activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a leading property business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain financial controls, reporting systems, and compliance with corporate and legal requirements.
  • Support the Financial Controller with business and financial planning, ensuring targets are met.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to assist with investment decisions and business operations.
  • Manage tax compliance, statutory reporting, and external audits.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors.

Your Profile
You must be available for a quick start (at most 2 weeks) with full NZ working rights and be based in New Zealand.

What We Are Looking For
  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualification with a strong background in financial management.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with Big 4 or Mid-Tier audit experience.
  • Background in property would be strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and tax legislation.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
