**About the Role**

We're seeking a skilled and experienced financial expert to join our Financial Markets Directorate. As a Senior Financial Markets Leader, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to our team, driving the day-to-day implementation of operational objectives.

Your expertise will be relied upon to engage with stakeholders and represent the team with integrity. You will support the Manager with thought leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring others to support their ongoing ambitions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Financial Markets Directorate
  • Drive the day-to-day implementation of operational objectives
  • Engage with stakeholders and represent the team with integrity
  • Support the Manager with thought leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of New Zealand financial markets and institutions
  • Extensive practical experience working in a commercial bank, asset manager, or official institution treasury or trading environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • A positive, collaborative approach and the desire to work across a complex organisation at a senior level
