**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide advanced, comprehensive care for patients in the emergency setting.
  • Perform assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with medical teams as applicable.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Ensure the highest level of care and safety for all patients.

**The Team/Service/Location**

The Emergency Department is situated on the Wellington campus adjacent to the Wellington Regional Hospital building. Our Department provides a Tertiary Level 6 Emergency Service committed to providing high-quality acute and emergent care to patients.

**What You Will Need**

To be successful in this role, you will need NP registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) or if an internationally trained NP, the education equivalence to gain this registration. We offer a well-developed Nurse Practitioner Candidacy Programme with professional and clinical support for NP Candidates.
