About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Trainee to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Building: Connect with new clients and maintain existing relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  2. Sales Lead Identification: Continuously research and identify new sales leads to keep the pipeline fresh and ensure alignment with local market trends.
  3. Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with potential customers through various channels, including calls, emails, and visits, to build trust and secure deals.
  4. Sales Performance: Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed budget expectations.
  5. Order Management: Utilize tools like Salesforce to track sales and order details accurately and efficiently.
  6. Core Values Alignment: Prioritize safety and integrity, embodying Hitachi Energy's core values while ensuring the well-being of your team and the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, commerce, or engineering from 2022, 2023, or 2024.
  2. Tech-savvy with knowledge of software, hardware, networks, electrical, and automation technology/industries (a plus).
  3. New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident; Visa holder with at least 2 years validity at the time of application, with full working rights.
