Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with branches, customers, and inventory teams to advise on best practices
  • Seek out better buying opportunities to maximise returns
  • Assist with streamlining stock stock-taking process and purchasing
  • Manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Co-ordinate purchasing of stock from suppliers to maintain stock levels and satisfy customer demand

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Inventory or Inwards Goods – specifically purchasing and stock control
  • Computer and numeracy knowledge, as well as great attention to detail
  • Solid all-rounder who takes great pride in their work and can multi-task while working to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong social skills and ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds
