About the Role

This position will see you work closely with our branches, customers, and inventory team to advise on best practices for stock management and purchasing. Your expertise will be essential in seeking out better buying opportunities to maximise returns, assisting with streamlining stock-taking processes, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate purchasing of stock from suppliers to maintain stock levels and satisfy customer demand across the HUB.
  • Establish and coordinate buying opportunities to secure rebates/discounts across the HUB.
  • Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Loading / Unloading products and whatever else is necessary within the branch.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on inventory levels, shrinkage, and other key metrics.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Inventory or Inwards Goods – specifically purchasing and stock control.
  • Computer and numeracy knowledge, as well as great attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and enjoy being part of a cohesive and successful team.
  • Strong social skills and ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds.
About You

You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to ensure that our customers are receiving prompt, efficient service and sound advice while keeping safety at the forefront. You will also be a solid all-rounder who takes great pride in your work and can multi-task while working to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure.
