Job Overview: F-18 Aircraft Avionics Electrician in Oxford District
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our team at the Boeing Company in Oxford District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying systems on F-18 aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems on F-18 aircraft to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes to ensure high-quality results.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment to meet specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults.
- Repair faulty components and perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
- Minimum 3 years experience with Aircraft Avionics
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience with F/A-18 and/or EA-18G platform
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
- Experience with composite repair and paint
