Job Overview: F-18 Aircraft Avionics Electrician in Oxford District

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our team at the Boeing Company in Oxford District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying systems on F-18 aircraft.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems on F-18 aircraft to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment to meet specific requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults.
  • Repair faulty components and perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Aircraft Avionics
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
    • Experience with F/A-18 and/or EA-18G platform
    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
    • Experience with composite repair and paint
