About the Job
We are seeking a Trade Assistants to join our team at Trade Me Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality workmanship and contributing to the success of our projects. Your primary focus will be on assisting our tradespeople in ensuring that all electrical systems meet the required standards and are properly installed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assisting tradespeople in viewing electrical layouts and determining the most suitable system
• Helping to install and test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
• Repairing any issues with electrical systems and replacing defective parts
• Working closely with Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to ensure equipment meets programmed time, cost, and quality requirements
• Monitoring progress of all work and reporting any delays or problems to relevant personnel

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of electrical systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills within the industry are essential. Ideally, you will have one year of relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1. A relevant educational qualification is preferred but not required.
