AWF New Zealand is recruiting a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join their team in Hastings, Hawkes Bay. In this production-based role, you will be responsible for reading detailed fabrication drawings, welding and assembling components and sub-assemblies for machines, and material preparation.

The ideal candidate will have trade certification in welding, proven experience in a production environment, and technical knowledge with a strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems. A physical ability to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced production environment is also required.

About the Role
  • Work hours: 6am till 4 pm Monday to Friday.

This role involves working with various tools and equipment, including cutting, drilling, and preparing materials for welding and fabrication. You will also be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies to build complete machines ready for blasting, paint, and final fit-out.
