Job Description

As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of our water treatment plants. Your duties will include monitoring and reviewing treatment plant process performance, carrying out routine checks and adjustments to ensure drinking water compliance is achieved, and treating wastewater to meet consent conditions for discharge to the environment. You'll also be responsible for keeping accurate records and uploading task completion to an online database.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you'll need a National Certificate and/or Diploma in Water or Wastewater Treatment, or a technical qualification in a related field. You should have experience in data analysis, plant processes, and report preparation, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and asset databases. A full New Zealand driver's license is also required.

Other Opportunities

In addition to your core responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to participate in an out-of-hours callout roster, providing emergency coverage for our water and wastewater treatment plants. This may involve night and weekend work on a rotational basis. You'll also be required to travel within the Waikato District Area to attend operational tasks as per your work plan.
