Bioinformatics Partnership Development Manager

At the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A"][ST]"]R], we are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a **Manager/Senior Manager/Assistant Director**. This pivotal role will drive marketing and business development initiatives for our institute, working closely with the Director of Strategy and Tech-Biz.
We are looking for a quick learner who can synthesize information and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the science and research conducted at BII and be able to forge impactful partnerships, create compelling communication materials, and spearhead collaborations that significantly amplify our influence in the bioinformatics landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement effective marketing and business development strategies with the Director of Strategy and Tech-Biz.
- Prepare high-quality marketing materials and presentations for external engagements with industry stakeholders, public sector entities, and academic partners.
- Proactively engage with potential business partners, taking the lead in meetings, discussions, and workshops to drive collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Pursue opportunities to close deals and establish strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Track industry engagements and contract preparation status, ensuring all agreements are meticulously drafted and aligned with our performance goals.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather insights and information necessary for effective external communications.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform our strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the development of translational research proposals and initiatives that align with our mission and vision.
- Assist in project management tasks, including preparing agreements, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
