Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced truck drivers for casual work at our Marsden Point branch. The primary responsibility of this position is driving Maffi/Shuttle trucks on short haul trips around the port, transporting logs between locations.
Key tasks include operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to standard operating procedures, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with log cartage and/or within a port environment
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a range of shifts
  • Excellent time management skills and the capacity to work unsupervised
  • The ability to meet deadlines and adhere to all safety procedures
  • A minimum Full Class 1 licence, with preference given to those holding a Class 2 licence
