As a Food Quality Assurance Specialist at StraitNZ, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of our products. This exciting opportunity is for someone with a strong passion for food safety and quality control, combined with a willingness to contribute to both operational and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that all products are consistently produced according to quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and customer specifications.
  • Encouraging a culture of Food Safety & Quality and driving best practice GMP behaviours.
  • Developing relationships with the wider team to influence and encourage food safety best practice.
  • Root cause analysis and identifying corrective and preventive actions.
  • Managing pre-requisite programmes and ensuring compliance to Legal, GFSI and Customer Standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role in a food/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, as well as a tertiary qualification in Science, Food Technology or Food Engineering.
