About the Team

The MBIE Cyber Security Assurance team is responsible for protecting MBIET from cyber threats.

We are seeking an experienced GRC Assurance Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of cyber security assurance professionals to achieve outstanding security outcomes for our business groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective GRC strategies to minimize security threats
  • Leading a team of cyber security assurance professionals to achieve best-in-class security outcomes
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to ensure that our business teams receive high-quality security advice

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience managing IT Security or related roles, including team leadership and risk management
  • Cyber security relevant certification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP)
  • Ability to remain up-to-date on key technical changes and opportunities in the cyber security domain
