The Opportunity
This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families, while developing your skills and expertise as a Registered Nurse.
You will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service, providing comprehensive care and support to our residents.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others.
- Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively.
- Making critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomy.
- Building connections and relationships with residents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community).
- Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members.
Requirements
- A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- A commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Previous experience using clinical systems.
- Desirable: InterRai experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- The capability to coach and mentor other staff.
- Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis.
