The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is the development of clinical practice through the delivery of education to the oncology nursing workforce to improve patient outcomes in both community and tertiary settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional and clinical leadership to ensure excellent clinical care flourishes.
- Work collaboratively with our Oncology leadership team to support the implementation of Oncology services regionally, including community settings.
- Prioritize workload and work as part of a supportive senior nursing team.
A commitment to biculturalism and achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.
A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and minimum Level 3 preferably Level 4 practice chemotherapy certified RN with a strong oncology nursing background.
Postgraduate qualifications, preferably to master's level, preferably with a focus on adult education.
Experience in adult education and innovative mindset.
Excellent people and project management skills.
