**About the Team/Service/Location**
The Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a Level 2 ICU providing intensive care to adults and children.
The ICU has a diverse and interesting case mix and the ability to deliver complex multisystem life support including non-invasive and mechanical ventilation, extra-corporeal renal replacement therapy, and invasive cardiac monitoring.
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
The successful candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Be registered or eligible for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council as an Intensive Care Physician.
* Have experience in a wide range of Intensive Care Medicine procedures.
* Proven experience in supervising and teaching junior medical staff.
