Payroll Manager Specialist

Job Description

This role provides support to the Payroll function, working closely with the Service Owner - Payroll. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing, applying a sound understanding of New Zealand payroll related legislation and its application to payroll systems and supporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise experience with SAP or other large payroll systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage larger volumes of processing, using Excel to an intermediate level, to meet tight deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and peers, gaining their trust and respect.

Requirements

  • Previous SAP experience working with complex payroll for a large organisation (1000+ employees) is preferred.
  • A strong track record of delivering results and improving processes that ensure customer and compliance outcomes is essential.
