Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Metering Equipment Team as an Inventory Management Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing metering equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Meter Issuing and Management: Receive, inspect, and store metering equipment; issue meters and associated equipment to technicians and project teams as required.
  • Site Delivery: Transport metering equipment to various site locations using company vehicles; load and unload equipment safely and securely.
  • Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain accurate records of meter movements, including issuance, delivery, and returns.
  • Liaison and Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and technicians to coordinate meter deliveries and installations.

Requirements

  • Valid full UK driving license.
  • Proven experience in a stores/logistics role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to use computer systems and databases.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
