Clinical leadership is a core function of our consultant psychiatrists' work. We operate a clinical governance model to ensure close involvement of clinicians in service development, service planning, and quality improvement initiatives.

Training and Development

We are an accredited training service and have rotating pre-examination and advanced trainees in psychiatry of old age.

About Our Service

MHSOA has two community teams – one in the North Shore area covering Rodney District and urban North Shore and one in West Auckland. Our Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Team (STaR) works collaboratively across the district, providing intensive support.
