Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Occupational Health team. As an occupational health professional, you will play a key role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position currently while we transition through a change process. However, there may be opportunities within our permanent structure for a similar role. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to lead, report on, and monitor designated occupational health projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in occupational health and safety practice, as well as knowledge of injury prevention and return to work methodology, moving and handling principles, and education and health risk management principles.

  • You will lead health risk assessments and oversee staff health monitoring in relation to identified workplace hazards.
  • Supporting and delivering moving and handling education in collaboration with our Moving and Handling Coordinator.
  • Ensuring effective rehabilitation and return to work processes are implemented for work injuries, non-work injuries, and illness of staff.

You will actively contribute towards a positive and collaborative team working environment.
