The Opportunity

We have a vacancy for a New Zealand registered occupational therapist to join our Older Adult Mental Health service based in Palmerston North Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing quality accessible occupational therapy services across the continuum of care for older adult mental health.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and deliver a quality accessible occupational therapy service in partnership with service users, NGOs/Agencies and their family/whānau.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff within the organisation to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Older Adult Mental Health service through participation in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Opportunity to develop your skills in working with older adults in our Older Adult Mental Health service.

Requirements

  • New Zealand registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • CURRENT annual practicing certificate.
