Sales & Business Development:

  1. Navigate the complex travel and tourism market in New Zealand to identify potential customers and introduce them to Rezdy's innovative booking solutions.
  2. Maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, leveraging industry connections, networking events, and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of tour operators.
  3. Prioritize negotiation skills to ensure alignment with company policies and customer satisfaction.

Regional Market Leadership:

  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand travel and tourism landscape, including key players, challenges, and trends.
  2. Represent Rezdy at local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
  3. Occasional travel required to visit prospects around NZ.
  4. Provide regular feedback to the Head of Sales ANZ on market conditions, customer insights, and competitive activity.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  1. Partner with the ANZ Sales team to localize campaigns and generate leads aligned with the New Zealand market needs.
  2. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
  3. Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Head of Sales ANZ, including sales forecasts, achieved targets, and market analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Experience: At least 6+ years of full sales cycle experience.
  2. Self-Starter: A proactive, highly motivated individual who can independently manage their workload, set priorities, and achieve sales targets.
  3. Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with a knack for building trust and rapport quickly.
  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional written, negotiation, and verbal communication abilities to present solutions clearly and persuasively.
  5. Tech-Savvy: Ability to work with CRM and other sales tools.
  6. Adaptability: Flexibility to travel across New Zealand as needed and collaborate with global teams in different time zones.
  7. Ideally experience in a SaaS start-up or scale-up environment, as an early sales hire.
  8. Comfortable using Hubspot.
