Job Description
The Head of Broker Partnerships plays a pivotal role in driving the growth, profitability, and market positioning of Ando's Broker Distribution business. This includes developing and implementing strategic engagement programs for key partners and facilitating strong relationships within these organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage key partner strategic engagement programs to drive business growth and profitability.
- Maintain proactive relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations, serving as a primary point of contact between them and Ando.
- Coordinate meetings and events with key partners, collaborating with the events coordinator.
- Ensure effective participation at partner conferences and negotiate conference involvement and sponsorship.
- Promote representation and participation in professional development programs offered by key partners.
- Sponsorship and event management in conjunction with heads of distribution segments.
- Design and maintain strategies aligned with Ando's growth targets for each key partner.
- Establish a quarterly reporting process for key partners.
- Document and report on actions discussed during partner meetings.
- Foster collaboration with key partners to gather information desired for reporting purposes.
- Implement a feedback loop to disseminate key partner insights at fortnightly distribution meetings.
- Develop, implement, and manage the key customer engagement program.
- Manage broker agreements with all partners, overseeing commission rate negotiations.
- Collaborate with the schemes team to ensure due process is followed when reviewing and implementing scheme agreements.
- Oversight, monitoring, and negotiation of professional service agreements with partners.
- Monitor and address complaints within the Distribution team.
- Lead the onboarding and due diligence process for brokers seeking to establish an agency with Ando.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess senior-level experience in key account relationship management, existing connections with key insurance broker partners, and a deep understanding of the insurance market dynamics. Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience extracting data from BI reporting systems like Qlik.
