The Role- You will provide expert technical guidance and support to our design and project teams.
- Design and develop process descriptions, flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Collaborate with the team to design, enhance and implement control systems for plant operations.
- Oversee asset integrity management and initiate improvements to plant operations.
- Validate, certify and approve engineering designs.
- Mentor and provide leadership support to Mechanical Engineers and Graduate Engineers.
- Promote Mb Century's capabilities to clients domestically and internationally through leveraging your industry network.
- Manage small-scale design and build projects.
- Oversee the management of hydrogen generation plant operations.
You possess extensive experience in energy or process industries, holding a Master's Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Systems Engineering. Chartered status (CPEng or IMechE) is desirable.
- You have deep knowledge and experience with process (gas/steam) and boiler plant operations.
- A proven track record in asset integrity and plant management.
- Familiarity with electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including commissioning practices.
- Strong project leadership skills.
- Solid commercial acumen to manage work within agreed timelines.
- Prior experience in piping design principles using specialized software is beneficial.
- Able to champion our suite of asset integrity tools.
- A strong network within the energy sector to support our business growth strategy.
