About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Day Ward team at Kenepuru Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality intravenous therapy services, including blood products, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering a wide range of intravenous therapies
  • Cannulation and central venous line management
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
Requirements:
  • Active team member with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in IV therapy and cannulation
  • New Zealand Nursing registration and 5+ years of nursing experience
  • Completed CAP/NETP Programme and EVIQ competent
About the Team/Service/Location

The Medical Day Ward at Kenepuru Hospital is an important part of Wellington Hospital's secondary and tertiary service delivery model. Our team provides care to patients requiring intravenous therapy, including those undergoing chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and other treatments.
