This exciting new position within our multi-disciplinary team will focus on early intervention for people with eating disorders. You will support primary care clinicians and other community health providers to apply timely, best-practice assessment and intervention, altering the trajectory of those with eating disorders and minimizing their impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to individuals with eating disorders
  • Develop and implement timely, best-practice assessment and intervention strategies
  • Support primary care clinicians and community health providers in applying evidence-based practices

Requirements

  • Nursing degree and registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with eating disorders
